Whew! The last couple of days I have spent a lot of time on Facebook. It's great how many of the younger generation are on Facebook and blogs. The Internet helps us to keep in touch with each other's lives as if we live in the same town, even though we're states away. I realized a few minutes ago that the reason I haven't participated in the social networking yet is because my three kids live within 15 minutes of me. I'll bet that would be different if they (and my grandchildren) lived far away.
I was thinking how most of the Smith kids' kids are grown and having their own kids. I was in those shoes just a day or two ago, right? Well, time is passing and I got to thinking about how quickly another generation will be leaving the nest (not so far away, depending on your perspective). And, that Grandpa Tom Smith's 100th birthday is not far away . . . 2011.
So, what does everyone think of a Smith Family reunion in 2011? I'm initially thinking of the area of Yellowstone National Park, a somewhat centralized location where families can have lots of fun activities and the families of lesser income could find campground facilities.
